Health care evaluation
Health care evaluation compares different forms of existing health care in the Netherlands. In the 'Field standard for assessment and quality assurance of WMO mandatory care evaluations (in Dutch)', arrangements have been made for WMO mandatory health care evaluations. To be eligible for assessment according to the Field standard, your study needs a 'Statement on existing health care'.

Comparing existing health care can also be health care evaluation of registered medicines or medical devices. Please note that research with a medicinal product is subject to European legislation (Clinical Trial Regulation; CTR), as are clinical investigations with medical devices (Medical Device Regulation; MDR) and performance studies on in vitro diagnostics (In Vitro Diagnostics Regulation; IVDR).
