How does the website archive work?
ccmo.sitearchief.nl creates a copy of CCMO.nl every day. You can use the website archive in two ways:
- Browse the website as it appeared on a specific date in the past by selecting a date in the calendar (in the grey bar on the left-hand side of the screen).
- Search the archived website using the search bar below the calendar. Please note that the search function you are familiar with on CCMO.nl does not work in the website archive.
Tips for searching the website archive
- The website archive works best on a desktop computer, laptop or tablet.
- You can enter multiple words in the search field. Do not use quotation marks. The search engine searches all pages and documents in the website archive.
- Do not use special characters in your search term, such as
-,\,?, or letters with accents, such asë. - In the list of search results, the blue title indicates the type of information, for example a news item, parliamentary document or report.
- PDF files are marked with the red-and-white Adobe Acrobat logo. All documents (PDFs) have an introductory page, which means you can also find a document via a web page. Web pages are marked with an icon showing a white page with a green dot.
- The URL shown in the search results (in red) provides clues about the type of page that has been found. For example,
/document/in the URL indicates a document, while/onderwerpen/indicates a text page. - The original publication date is also included in the URL. Please note that this is not always 100% reliable, as a document may have been replaced by a newer version at a later date.
