Sphere of action
The RTPO reviews research protocols relating to:
- Proposed scientific research involving human subjects that falls under the responsibility of employees who work at the institution.
- Proposed scientific research involving human subjects that does not fall under the responsibility of employees of the institution, if permission for this has been granted by the competent authority.
- Proposed scientific research involving human subjects in a multicentre context that falls under the responsibility of employees who work at that the institution and under the responsibility of employees in hospitals or research locations throughout the Netherlands.
Rates
Please note! From 31 January 2022, national rates are set to the assessment of research with a medicinal product (CTR) and clinical research with a medical device (MDR article 62/74.2).
