Sphere of action
The MREC Brabant reviews research protocols offered throughout the entire Netherlands from:
- foundations and other institutions, including hospitals, care and nursing homes and other transmural institutions that provide care;
- the pharmaceutical industry and (contract) research institutions which carry out research on behalf of third parties;
- physicians and others who work in the healthcare sector;
- patient associations;
- the government.

Please note! From 31 January 2022, national rates are set to the assessment of research with a medicinal product (CTR) and clinical research with a medical device (MDR article 62/74.2).
