Scientific research aimed at the development of cell therapy | The Central Committee on Research Involving Human Subjects

CCMO is the designated review committee for scientific research aimed at the development of cell therapy using living cells. This is laid down in article 1, section f of the Central Review Decree (BCB) and the Explanatory Memorandum to the amended BCB.

Several types of products fall under article 1, part e of the BCB. These are described below. Unless otherwise indicated, CCMO is the designated review committee for all products listed.

Due to the rapidly changing research field, it may be that a product cannot be placed in one of the above categories. If in doubt, please contact CCMO.
